Jasmine Casandra Ojales Curtis-Smith, a Filipino-Australian actress, talks about contributing reasons as to why her sister Anne Curtis still doesn’t have a baby.
The Chika Blockbuster, a YouTube Channel, recently uploaded a video about the Curtis-Smith sisters. The title read “Jasmine Curtis Smith, INAMIN ang DAHILAN kung bakit hindi NABUBUNTIS si Anne Curtis.”
The It’s Showtime host has been married to Erwan Heussaff for almost a year now, however they have yet to bring their own bundle of joy into this world.
A lot of people have been telling Jasmine Curtis Smith, who now stars in Pamilya Roces, that “mas aktres siya” compared to her sister. To which she replied with “I’m flattered to heart that, kasi I know I can say that is one of my strength. But I can also say na the one thing that I don’t have that my sister has, is that mas may charm siya.”
“That is why she is Asia’s Sweetheart or Philippine Sweetheart, kasi mas kaya niyang maabot yung masa,” continued the actress.
She then went on to explain that Anne Curtis’s personality is more inviting and exciting and that’s something you cannot learn because it is innate. “Mas siya talaga ‘yun.” said Jasmine about her sister.
When it was pointed out to her that acting is also an innate talent, Jasmine said that while that may be true, it is also something you can enhance in workshops. She then went on to joke that she’ll just pursue awards and trophies to have an edge. “Kasi ang dami na niyang ano e… she’s an entertainer, actress, singer, host, chu chu chu..” Jasmine said about her sister, Anne.
She was then asked to give advice to her older sister to which she hesitantly replied, “Ako sa kanya? more of ano, more of personal na. can you rest? Take rest. You’re too hard working.”
Although she didn’t say it directly, the reporters then asked her whether this was a contributing factor to why Anne Curtis hasn’t started her own family yet. “Oo, para may time na magka family. I want her to take more resting days. Alam ko namang impossible yun dahil araw araw ang It’s Showtime,” said the Pamilya Roces star.
In the meantime, Anne’s best advice to her as she said was that “Relax ka lang. Kasi ano ako e, mabilis ma-tension, ma-anxious, uminit ulo ko.”
The sisters have their own strengths and they are very aware of them too, but that doesn’t stop them from being extremely supportive of each other as there doesn’t seem to be any form of sister rivalry between the two.
